Ash Institute, John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University
Through its research, publications, international programs, global network, and government innovations awards, the Ash Institute fosters creative and effective government problem-solving and serves as a catalyst for addressing many of the most pressing needs of the world’s citizens.

UN Commission on Legal Empowerment of the Poor
Hosted by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), the Commission on Legal Empowerment of the Poor aims to make legal protection and economic opportunity not the privilege of the few but the right of all. Making the law accessible to the poor is vital for the success of the legal empowerment agenda.

Knowledgeland
Kennisland | Knowledgeland (KL) is an independent Dutch think tank, that aims to make Dutch society ‘smarter’ and to establish The Netherlands as one of the key regions in the international knowledge economy. As this economy can only flourish when many can participate in it, creating and improving public access is an important theme for KL.

Kafka Brigade
The Kafka Brigade is an independent, non-profit action research team that assesses red tape from a citizen’s perspective. The Brigade is called into action when citizens and public servants become tangled in a web of dysfunctional rules, regulations and procedures.

Global Network of Government Innovators
This network, initiated by Harvard University’s Ash Institute for Democratic Governance and Innovation, is a worldwide community of leaders dedicated to effective government and public service. Its online platform, the Government Innovators Network, provides a dynamic means of supporting members through online events and best practice archives.

The Access Initiative
The Access Initiative (TAI) is a global network of civil society organizations working to ensure that people have the right and ability to influence decisions about the natural resources that sustain their communities. TAI promotes access to information, participation, and justice in environmental decision-making.
