Anja van der Wal is working as independent program manager since 2008. Prior to that, Anja was Senior Program Manager at the Centre for Government Studies (CGS) at Leiden University, The Netherlands. Before she joined the CGS she worked as program and project manager at the Police Force Amsterdam, the Public Prosecutor's Office in Haarlem and the Ministry of Justice in The Hague. Anja has vast experience in managing and implementing programs in complex administrative environments. After having lived in India for two years, she is currently based in Budapest, Hungary. Anja holds a master degree in Communication Science from the University of Amsterdam.
